Depending on its chemical composition, wire rod is intended for a wide range of applications, as in the manufacture of screws, bolts, nails, springs, bearing balls, mesh and reinforcing elements, tie wire, fencing, shelving, shopping carts, wire hangers. In addition, wire drawn from rod can be galvanized, plated and painted.
